In tropical conditions Northwood just could not get into this game, a situation made a lot worse by the inexplicable conduct of Kerran Pacquette,
which resulted in his sending off for foul and abusive language after only 23 minutes.
Camberley scored first from a corner, but Northwood began to find some rhythm and the deserved equaliser came in the 38 minute when Myles Stephenson scored with a flicked header from a Julian Smith free kick.
At half time the formation was changed to 3-4-2 and the ten men created some good chances, notably from Doug Fitzgerald and Stephenson.
Good passing moves from the home side were beginning to stretch Northwood, and eventually they were rewarded with two goals in 10 minutes.
Northwood still managed to create further chances right up to the end of the match, but just could not add to their tally. Max Easton in the Northwood goal had a memorable game, and the double save he made in the first half had both dugouts giving a standing ovation.
